Thoughts: Well done to the roh who pulled out all the stops for a wonderful open day – ROH OPEN UP – was the first time the roh had participated in Open Rehearsal. Celebrating the launch of the Cultural Olympiad.

All three resident companies opened their rehearsals to the general public – everything was free and Highlights included: In the Paul Hamlyn hall -The Royal Ballet school in class / The Royal Ballet Serenade rehearsal / The Royal Ballet swan Lake (character dance and pas de deux) rehearsal.

Crush room – JPYAP La Traviata rehearsals throughout the day. Auditorium – Chamber music and open for general viewing – and everyone wants to have look!

Free back stage tours – every 15 mins! Clore studio – film. Amphitheatre – meet the artists and backstage departments / samples and demonstrations.

if i had a six star tub ( Butterscotch!) – this would be worthy of it – make sure you get there next year.
